Our Adventure Tours Scotland guides are chosen for their professionalism, their in-depth local knowledge, and their passion to roll up their sleeves and explore and share in your experience. They’re a friendly and enthusiastic team, who have hiked, biked and paddled extensively throughout Scotland’s national parks, and slept under the stars on countless nights. They’re keen to introduce you to the place that they call home.
Our tour guides go the extra mile – they’ll organise your activities and show you the best spots along the way. They’re all about making sure you get the most out of your adventure. Having an exceptional guide is a key reason to do a private and bespoke tour – so our team is small, and very carefully selected.

Expedition leader and assessor for Duke of Edinburgh Award
From a very young age I loved the outdoors, and spent my summers camping, fishing, biking, and hiking with family and friends all over Scotland. My lifelong passion for the outdoors led me to qualify as a professional Outdoor Education Instructor and I have never looked back since. I have had the pleasure of leading hundreds of groups and have been proud to show off Scotland’s beautiful places, its fantastic people, and its rich culture. I am an expedition leader and assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh Award and it has been a real privilege to assist so many young people to achieve such a worthwhile accreditation.
Independently hiked to the Everest Base Camp in 2019
I have lived and worked in Drymen in the heart of the National Park for well over 30 years, and I’m a founder member of the local climbing club. When I’m not out exploring Scotland’s beautiful wild places on foot or by kayak, I love to go long distance cycle touring and have just completed the epic Lands End to John O’Groats cycle challenge. I would describe myself as a friendly people person who loves sharing Scotland’s special places with our overseas travellers, and helping them get the most out of their experience. I recently returned from a fantastic trip to Nepal where I independently hiked to the Everest Base Camp.
Completed the Tour Du Mont Blanc 170km trek
After my first backpacking trip around Europe, I fell in love with adventure travel. And after completing the classic Tour Du Mont Blanc long distance trek, my fate was sealed: I became a self-confessed mountain addict. I feel very privileged to have the stunning shores of Loch Lomond on my doorstep and to live so close to the 21 Munroes (Hills over 3000ft) within the surrounding National Park. In my opinion, Scotland has the most diverse natural beauty of anywhere I have been in the world and I love calling it my office and my home! When I’m not guiding our friends from around the world, I love nothing more than taking a long walk with my labrador Amber.
